Once Ehud was buried with his fathers, Israel returned to the worship of false gods. And like before, God responded with a severe chastisement, turning them over to king Jabin and his war chief the vicious Sistera. But in His mercy, and within His perfect timing, He raises up Deborah, a woman, to deliver Israel.
