Jephthah's Foolish Vow and the Wisdom of God (Judg 11:29-12:7)

Jephthah had promised that if God gave him a victory, he would offer as a burnt offering the first thing that came out of his house when he returned.

Unfortunately, the "thing" that came out was his daughter - his only child. Did Jephthah keep that foolish vow?
