My Favorite Martian
Acts 17:16-34
Had you been walking through Athens with Paul, you would have been in
the intellectual center and the entertainment capital of the world.
You may have walked by the homes of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle.
Then you may have been introduced to the gods of Greek mythology, like
Zeus, Apollo and Narcissus. For sure you could have conversed with
the epicureans and stoics. No doubt you would have come to the same
conclusion as Paul, “Men of Athens, I observe that you are very
religious in all respects.”
