While we are freed from the ceremonial aspects of the Fourth Commandment, the underlying moral obligation to worship God one day in seven and provide rest for ourselves and others remains. As the Lord's Supper is the New Testament fulfillment of the Passover, so the first day of the week, the Lord's Day, is the New Testament fulfillment of the Old Testament Sabbath.
