Liberty of Conscience

This is an exposition of the doctrine of liberty of conscience. Pastor Gibson makes clear that it is the word of God alone that can bind the conscience. A clear understanding of this doctrine is vital when dealing with matters the bible views indifferently, lest we be tempted to bind the conscience of another. Furthermore, the mature believer who can rightly claim liberty for himself, is cautioned to excercise that liberty with a loving regard for those less mature, lest he tempt that person to sin against his own conscience.
