Jacob wrestling

Jacob is a man who is used to using his wits to get what he wants. Now he is relying on them to get him out of trouble. He begins by trying to show his brother that he has become responsible, goes on to ask God to deliver him because of His promise to Jacob, and finally falls back on his scheming ways. How often are we that same way, exploring every possibility instead of just trusting God?
