Gospel Preaching: A Key of the Kingdom

The preaching of the gospel is one of the keys of the kingdom the Lord has given to His church. The Holy Spirit uses it to unlock the gate and admit all repentant and believing sinners into His kingdom, but the same key also locks out of the kingdom all who are impenitent and unbelieving. In a day when the preaching of the Word is often despised or displaced, we need to recover its God-given centrality.
