To Fulfill The Great Commission
Our responsibility as believers is to follow the Commandment of Jesus to; "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"
We are required to teach, convert and edify. It is necessary to know HIS word to deflect evil and win souls.
Matthew 10:16..."Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." Luke 5:10b..."And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men."
A command has no options. It requires discipline to duty through the acceptance of the task and following it through.
"Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." (Matthew 28:20)
Matthew 1:23; John 15:16.
Only through the Holy Spirit can we accomplish the work of our Lord. The Spirit enable us to:
1.Avail ourselves to the LORD's work,
Philippians 2:13; 1 Corinthians 13:13.
2.Worship HIM properly.
Luke 8:23-25; John 4:23,24; Phil. 3:3.
3.Submit ourselves wholly to HIS will.
John 5:22,27; Revelation 19:16.
Mark 16:15,"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
Psalm 150.
