Union with Christ - The Coming of the Spirit, Conclusion

This message completes the series' examination of the coming of the Holy Spirit. It considers the Pentecost event as inaugurating the promised Age of the Spirit, but specifically as it relates to the fulfillment of Joel's prophecy concerning the outpouring of the Spirit. By connecting the events of Pentecost with Joel's prophecy, Peter shows how the important eschatological themes of the "Last Days" and "Day of the Lord" pertain to Christ's atonement, ascension and enthronement and His sending of His Spirit upon "all flesh."
