Women's Meeting - Keeping in Touch with God on the Run

We live in a very demanding world -- a world of activity, deadlines, performance indicators, stress and competition. A world whose slogan is, 'May the Best Man Win' -- with the sideline. 'Let the Weak Go to the Wall.'
In a world like this, is it practical and possible for us who are Christians to truly put God first in our lives?
Can we really be in touch with God -- on a day to day basis?
Can we truly reach the heart of God -- or is that exclusively the privilege of the religious professionals, who presumably have the necessary time and training to remain close to God?
Is there any foolproof method by which we can find the quiet focus we all need to ensure that our spirits are fed?
Whose example can we follow? Who will point us in the right direction?
