Good News of the Kingdom

Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and rescue people who are in his captivity in order to bring them into his kingdom. The Kingdom of God has several aspects - it includes the manifestation of the arrival of the King of the Kingdom in the incarnation of Christ, his rule over believers who comprise his church, and Christ's kingly authority (though hidden to unbelievers) over all things in heaven and earth. Christians are subjects of his kingdom and experience now many benefits of Christ's kingship over our lives, but the revealing of his Lordship over all people and creation will be fully manifested at Christ's return.
