He promotes a new obedience.
How then can we live? Ezekiel 33:10

Following a quote from Jonathan Edwards, he speaks of the new man:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, those who mourn, the meek, etc.
“You are the salt of the earth... “You are the light of the world… Matthew 5:3-16
The Sermon on the Mount describes the new righteousness. For example, the re-created man loves the Lord’s Sabbath, his resurrection day.
