Footwear Fit For Purpose

Just as the Roman soldier in Paul's day needed footwear fit for purpose so does the Christian. Stability and mobility are critically important in spiritual warfare. The gospel, as the the "gospel of peace" furnishes us with this "footwear" so that we will not slide all over the place or drag our feet when we need to engage with the forces which threaten the gospel.
