Prove you are the One!

'Give us a sign so that we might believe.' The Jews' demand for a sign revealed their stubborn refusal to see the light that was shining so brilliantly in their eyes. If they would not repent and believe in the light of the words of One who was greater than Jonah and Solomon then not even the light of the resurrection would turn their hearts. Jesus warns us against their false assumption that they had good eyes, that they could see clearly and that they were full of light when the eyes of their heart were blinded by sin and their lives full of darkness.
