How can we know we are growing in grace and knowledge?

After the New Birth there should be growth and development - as with a newborn child. Are we growing up as Christians? How can we tell if we are growing? What are the distinguishing marks of growth in grace?

1. Appetite being enlarged. Hungering and thirsting after righteousness.
2. Development. From milk to meat.
3. Stability. Not being carried about with every wind of doctrine by the sleight of men. Eph. 4,14.
4. Advancement. From toys to adult pursuits.
5. Maturity. "A perfect man" = a mature believer.
