Living in the Light of the New Birth

This message was given by Pastor Jonathan Stobbs as he continued his morning ministry in the Gospel of John.
As the Lord Jesus continues to speak with Nicodemus He continues to speak of the workings and wonder of the New Birth, the working of God to bring to life the spiritually dead. In this verse the Lord gives the very reason why God has to work, why God has to intervene, and why salvation is all of God, and a marvellous gift of His grace, and to His glory. It also underlines the important reality that after new birth that the individual changed is to live with a spiritual perspective, and the principles of heaven as revealed in the Bible. The Christian is no longer to live for the flesh, but for the glory of God, enabled by the spiritual life that has been given to them. In this message, Pastor Stobbs speaks of the reality of man's depraved nature only ever being able to produce more of the same, flesh producing flesh, and how how God has to intervene to give spiritual life. He also gives some helpful principles for living as a believer facing the ongoing battle between the old and new nature.
