The Gospel of the Kingdom - Message 77 - The Parable of the Sower - Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23. After the rejection and blasphemy of the religious leaders and the fickleness of the crowds, Jesus begins to teach in parables, concealing truth from some while revealing it to others. The first parable Matthew records for us is the Parable of the Sower - the Son of Man, sent to sow the Seed of the Gospel of the Kingdom in the world. The types of soil represent the hearts of His hearers.
