In the evening we come to the 10th commandment (Heidelberg Catechism Q/A 113) preached from Psalm 139.23, 24. When we go to the doctor to learn why we have this or that pain we sometimes undergo a medical scan. Psalm 139.23, 24 explains how the 10th commandment is a "Covet Scan" to discover minute traces of sin in our heart and life. We need this gracious work of God's scan to show us what is in us and what Christ forgives us for.
