Three Motives For Faithful Life and Witness

As Paul in this passage returns to his theme of defending his apostolic ministry against attacks of ungodly opponents who were negatively influencing the Corinthian church, his own motives for faithfully pursuing his calling and ministry as an apostle point us to three worthy goals for every Christian's call to faithful life and witness: to strive for that which is commendable, to live in the fear of God, and to be constrained by Christ's love.
