A Burden in Prayer

We lack a certain passion or zeal in our prayers. We may not be able to fully exhibit it, and in particular in public prayer, but do we have a burden in private prayer?
I don't just say that this is missing in our prayer life, it is missing in the overall of our Christian lives. We see what is going on, we can understand by reading what is going to happen, yet we still sit idly by?!
Daniel set down and read out of the writings of Jeremiah the prophet, and he understood what was going to happen to his beloved nation…and this understanding overcame him.
