29. Despise Not Little Ones

This Family Integrated Bible Study lesson covers the 29th command of Christ – "Despise not little ones." Jesus held children to be of great value and worth and yet so often in our churches today, we brush them aside or segregate them away from the adults so that we can focus on adult ministry in a greater way. God's design was for us to worship together as families and God wants parents to take time to listen not only to their own children but the other children as well. "Little children" is also a term used of new converts in the New Testament. So the truths in this lesson also apply to them.
