The Lord teaches us to pray, 'Thy Kingdom come.' For what do we pray when we make such a petition? Pastor Sarver sets forth that we pray that every form of opposition to God's rule will be judged, that every aspect of God's redemptive rule will be consummated and that every eye will be focused upon Christ the King. Also considered is the question why we pray, 'Thy Kingdom come.' May we have yearning hearts which honestly petition, 'Come, Lord Jesus.'
