The Right Stand - No Compromise

Moses' interviews with Pharaoh came to an end. The final plague that brought a divide between Moses and Pharaoh was the darkness.
That physical darkness was so thick that people could not function for three days – it says that they did not rise from their beds in that thick blanket of horrible darkness - it was a terrorising thing for the Egyptians.
How horrible that darkness will be of hell!
That darkness is also indicative of the spiritual state of Pharoah's soul - he was paralyzed spiritually that he had no notion of God's real character.
Then came the standoff - “See my face no more” - that was the doomsday call of Pharaoh.
All of his suggested compromises to Moses had been exhausted.
Stay in the Land.
Go not far away
Leave the little ones
Leave the cattle behind.
To each of these suggestions Moses refused to compromise and now when Pharaoh announced his final refusal to surrender to God to let the Israelites go with these words “see my face no more” Moses answers with a no compromise response – “Thou hast spoken well, I will see thy face no more.”
