The Teleology of Suffering

Dr. Brunson brought this message to the congregation of First Baptist Church, Hebron, Texas.

In this sermon, three types of Spiritual suffering are discussed.

1. The suffering by the law in conscience.

2. The suffering by the affliction of the Holy Spirit as He shows us the cross.

3. Suffering for others whom we love by the power of the Spirit.

Physical Pain and Death
Emotional Distress

The end of suffering is the glory of God and the good of God's people.
