Murmuring (1)

Many think murmuring to be a little thing, but in reality it is a horrible sin. The Scriptures admonishes the best of churches (Philippians) and the worst of churches (Corinth) against murmuring. A murmuring spirit shows that we desire to be sovereign over God rather than to be submissive to God Who is sovereign. As the Lord gave bitter water to Israel to prove them, often the Lord brings bitter trials in our lives to prove us.
