- Past V3: You are saved by grace, and you live by grace. The basic building block of all religion is for man to do something to get to God. But God has made provision far above that.
- Provision V7: God sent forth His son!
- Past (continued - V8)
= In the past we didn't know God.
= You don't know God till you read where God has been revealed - the authoritative Word of God, the Bible.
= Confirmation, or baptism can become gods. - Problem V9-10
a) We know God! He is real to us. He has been revealed in His word and we can have a personal relationship with Him.
= A relationship with Christ is different! You need a relationship, not a religion. The Galatians had gone back to being enslaved to the Law.
