This opens with a description of how the scriptures change from a negative to a positive, depending on where our attention is. Then it moves into the "absolute" proof by God that we are doing what he wants, the way he wants it done. (No doubt, Cain thought God would be pleased with his offering so, God has given us a way to keep that from happening to us.)
