Be What You Are

We see what He has granted to us and the wealth of resources we have in Him and because of Him. So the question is because of these things, How do we live as genuine believers?

Paul’s uses this pattern of doctrine first explaining the things Christ has done as a teaching tool to remind us of the things God has done and how we should live.

1. We live like true believers by Remembering How we Became Different. v.21

a. We hear His Word

b. We were taught His Way

c. We Encounter the Source of Truth

2. We live like true believers by Laying Aside our Old Life v.22

3. We live like true believers by being Renewed in the Spirit of our Mind v.23

4. We live like true believers by Putting on the New Self v.24

Put off the grave clothes. We have been washed and cleansed so this week truth in Christ and walk in the newness of life.
