17-Changing the Date of the End

Yesterday I mentioned to someone that I used to be a pastor and he immediately asked me if I thought we were in the end times. People ask that a lot in times when there are a lot of wars and chaos and major catastrophes. But when Jesus preached about the end times, he said when there are wars and rumors of wars, don't be alarmed because that's not the end. Did you know Scripture points to certain activities of the Church—good activities—as being indicators of the nearness of the end? In fact, we can even do things to make the end come sooner.
