The Work of the Holy Spirit in Salvation

Many do not understand the importance of the work of the Holy Spirit in salvation. The reason is because they do not fully understand the doctrine of depravity. The scriptures teach that the natural person is dead in trespasses and sins. We can not believe, repent or have faith towards Christ until we have first been quickened, (made spiritually alive) by the Holy Spirit.
