Life in Perilous Times: Staying on the Narrow Way

Declining morals. Empty religion. False teaching.This is the environment Jesus’ followers always have lived in. And the resulting pressure is immense for those who seriously engage Jesus’ mission in the world. We face daily temptations to compromise morally, to play at church rather than be the church, and to follow broad, easy paths peddled by false teachers. “… you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of...” (2 Timothy 3:14 NKJV). Paul urged Timothy to follow his example of belief and lifestyle, staying fixed on the goal of glorifying God in an age of apostasy. This is still the church’s charge today. In this message, we’ll continue our study of 2 Timothy 3 with “Life in perilous times: Staying on the narrow way.”
