The Day of the Lord

"For the day of the Lord is at hand." We begin a series on the Book of Joel. We are told little about the author. We are given his name and his father's name. It appears from the short intro he would have been well know to those he wrote to. We look at what he says concerning the Day of the Lord and are reminded that the Sovereign Mighty God rules over all and He hates and judges sin.

We are also reminded that trials are sent to transform us and we should focus more on our souls than our bodies. We should not lose our first love and see joy is founded in the Lord.
