Series Philippians
108 ( 88 | 20 )
Paul begins to close his letter to the Philippians with an extended message of appreciation for their financial involvement in his ministry. They followed Paul's progress, new his needs and contributed to him as they were able. At the same time, Paul wanted to assure them that his focus was not on their money, but on Christ. The Lord was teaching him how to be content no matter the circumstances. Christ gave Paul the ability to prosper with little or much, to rejoice when filled or hungry, and to faithfully serve in either an abundance of provisions or a severe lack of basic needs.
