Going Home

Home. Distant places may be intriguing or charming to us. It can be wonderful to take a little break and go away to someplace interesting and different. But it's even more wonderful to come HOME. There's just no place like home, sweet home. Naomi was ready to go home. Her "temporary" sojourn in Moab had already extended to ten long years. These were not good years for Naomi. First, she lost her husband when he unexpectedly died. Then she lost her two boys - first when they married foreign women, and then again when one and then the other died. Naomi was left shattered, broken, bruised and deeply disappointed in the life she was living in Moab. It will be good to go home. But going home requires preparation at several levels...
