Husbands, highly value your wives!
Live with your wives in an understanding way (7a)
How: in the same humble spirit as submissive relationships
Cause: as with a weaker vessel, since she is a woman
Cultural vulnerability
Physical vulnerability
Moral & spiritual vulnerability
Grant your wives honor (7b)
Reason: she is a fellow heir of the grace of life
Purpose: so that your prayers may not be hindered
Root problem: Pride and selfishness—“It's all about me!”
Solution: “Come to the cross!”
