The Worship of God in God's

I. God created us to worship Him

A. God claims our exclusive worship and obedience

B. God calls for our fervent heart worship: Deut. 12:5, 7, 12; Rev. 4:11

II. God commands us to worship Him His way

A. God commands us to worship Him according to His holy character

1. He commands the total destruction of all ‘idol worship' Deut. 12:1-3
2. He commands us never to worship Him as the heathens do (Deut. 12:4, 30ff)
3. He commands us never to make an image of Him: Deut. 12:5
4. He commands us to worship Him in the “beauty of holiness” (Deut 12:5, 11)
