Daniel Pleads for His Nation

An old man, now long captive in Babylon, Daniel understands from the writings of Jeremiah that the Babylonian captivity would last seventy years. As the end of the 70 year period approaches, Daniel intercedes for his people, in a heart-rending example of genuine Biblical supplication for a sinful nation. The parallels with modern America are clear. This message is a call to national repentance, and a plea that the winds of revival would blow upon us again.
