Truths For Times of Tragedy

The destruction of the Space Shuttle Columbia and the sudden loss of seven lives cannot but impact all Americans in a profound way. We are reminded of our own mortality, the uncertainty of life and the suddenness with which things can happen and so much can change. We are further brought to ask why such things occur and where was God in the midst of it. No message can answer all the questions that such tragedies raise. This message simply seeks to place all tragic events in the light of several unmistakeable truths about God and ourselves which are revealed in Holy Scripture.
