"The seed is the word of God" (St. Luke 8:11).

Themes of Parable: Harvest, Growth, Power.
Jesus punctuates the meaning of the parable with his final words on the seed in the good soil: "having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience." or "But the seed in the good earth—these are the good-hearts who seize the Word and hold on no matter what, sticking with it until there's a harvest."
