 It was night - the same night!
 To get a full picture of the events that happened when Judas approached Jesus, one must read all four gospel accounts.
Deeds of Darkness (2) Jesus’ Arrest
A. Exposing Their Folly.
a. To the approaching multitude, Jesus explained the folly of what they were doing.
b. How necessary that He do this - for them, and for us!
B. Explaining Their Success.
a. Jesus also explained the reason for the success they would have, who came to capture him.
b. Both they and we needed to know this explanation.
C. Expressing His Submission.
a. Jesus also expressees His submission to God’s will in this event.
b. For the night of darkness would give way to the light of day - He would triumph over the darkness!
