The Authority of Jesus

The source of Jesus authority was questioned by the leaders. So He asked what they thought John's source of authority was. They realized what He was doing and refused to answer. Jesus had already clearly claimed that God, His Father was His source of Authority. So He told them what they were doing in a parable. There are always those who reject His authority and those who accept it.
