Excuses for not serving God

Excuses are things that justifies a fault. God hears our excuses and doesn’t accept them, however. He sees how His people make kings houses for themselves and His was left to rot. The Lord will whip His own when they don’t do right. Our excuses will not count. What excuses are we putting before the Lord?
