True Piety Is Not Performance: Jesus Teaches His People How to Give, Pray and Fast

Jesus' message is continuing where it left off in Chapter 5. He had taught his disciples about the character of Christian Love. He had been showing how their teaching was missing the mark. As he begins Chapter 6, he will show them how their religious practices and piety was also out of whack.
