Eternal Security Pt 1

GIBS class for February 20, 2012.

This session of GIBS considers a number of verses and passages that are used by both Arminians to deny eternal security or by  Calvinists to require your perseverance if you are truly elect. Ironically, both theological systems ultimately require the believer to persevere in faith and godliness to the end of their lives to go Heaven, thus robbing the believer of the absolute assurance of salvation in this lifetime.

This class is designed to address these verses in their context, examining their content, and comparing Scripture with Scripture to arrive at a biblical conclusion on these matters. This class should prove to be helpful in addressing these objections in evangelistic opportunities, or when ministering to a confused believer, or in your own study of God's Word.
