Who did Jesus come to call?

As we continue our studies in Mark, we see the rising opposition to the Saviour's ministry as the religious leaders object to His eating and drinking with those whom they regarded as the lowest of the low - 'tax collectors and sinners'.

Have we grasped the importance of the Saviour's marvellous response that He had not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance?

If you are not a Christian, have you seen your own sinfulness and your need of a Saviour?

If you are a Christian, will you follow the Saviour in reaching out to those in need, even if it takes you outside of your own personal comfort zone?
