We Shall Give Account of Our Stewardship

Our Lord continues emphasizing the suddenness of His appearing with the parable of the talents. God entrusts His people with specific graces and gifts to use in edifying the body of Christ, and He expects a return on His investment. The question, "if you were put on trial for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?" is a relevant one, for just such a trial is coming.
