Jacob's Calling

The story about Isaac's family continues. But it really is a story of God, His sovereignty, and work to accomplish His purposes, even through lives of those who are imperfect. Both Isaac and Jacob display faith as Isaac blesses Jacob knowingly, and Jacob vows that God will be His God, and vows to tithe. Jacob's faith becomes his own faith, as God reiterates His promises.
