The One Thing Lacking !

Today the Rev Porter considers the rich young ruler. Firstly we see how that he approaches Christ and asks what HE could do to inherit eternal life. This is a common mistake of man who thinks that he can do something to gain eternal life. Christ shows him that it is only through Him that he could inherit the gift of eternal life.
The Rich Ruler leaves a unconverted man who would not repent of His sins.
