Christ in You, the Hope of Glory

The apostle Paul was a man on a mission. God had chosen him to fully declare the mystery of God that had been hidden for ages. At the very heart of this open secret was the rich and glorious truth of 'Christ in you, the hope of glory.' Paul gladly suffered and toiled to bring everyone to full maturity 'in Christ.'
Every fibre of Paul's being was concentrated on this all-consuming ministry of teaching and warning - he knew how easily the Colossian believers could be scammed through 'plausible arguments' into trading the rich treasure of wisdom and knowledge found in Christ for the worthless wisdom of this world.
