Partiality (showing favoritism). It is an attitude that we may be so used to harboring that we don't even consider it a sin. But God does. This study begins with the command (in James 2:1) to refrain from partiality, and extends to a survey of the Bible's teaching on partiality and favoritism. You will likely be surprised at how many times the Bible speaks to this sin as well as the many examples of its disastrous effect on relationships with God and others.
